Pump Up Your Future: NETZSCH Inspires Visitors at Day of Apprenticeship With Hands-On Technology
All good things come in threes! For the third time, the day of apprenticeship, with the theme “Pump up your future”, took place on Saturday, 24 May, on the NETZSCH Campus in Waldkraiburg – and, as in the previous two years, it was thoroughly successful.
Once again, there was plenty on offer for visitors. In addition to informative discussions with trainers, the children and young people could try out different professions. Both young people and their companions were impressed by the conditions and diverse opportunities at NETZSCH.

The event offered a varied programme. Guided tours of the production, assembly, logistics and office areas provided a comprehensive look behind the scenes of the global specialist in handling complex media. In the training workshop, children and young people demonstrated their manual drilling, milling and turning skills. “It is important to us to show young people in a practical way how versatile training at NETZSCH can be”, explains Christina Stanka, training coordinator. “The day of apprenticeship is not just about providing information – it’s also about inspiring enthusiasm.” One highlight was the virtual NETZSCH world. Equipped with VR glasses, guests were immersed in different application scenarios and could experience the pump technologies up close and interactively.

In addition to hands-on technology, the focus was on personal interaction. Trainees and trainers answered questions about the various apprenticeship programmes. Dominik Dormoolen, industrial trainer, emphasises: “We want to offer more than just training – we want to create a professional home and are proud to be able to offer young talents not only training but also long-term prospects in a globally active company.” NETZSCH offers a total of eight different apprenticeships (m/f/d) in Waldkraiburg. These include warehouse logistics specialist, industrial mechanic, technical product designer, industrial clerk, IT specialist for application development, IT specialist for system integration, plastics and rubber technologist, and electronics technician for industrial engineering. Whether you are technically gifted, interested in business, or enjoy programming, there is something for almost everyone here.
Day of apprenticeship: Full house, full of enthusiasm
The day of apprenticeship ended with cool drinks and food trucks offering various delicacies such as pizza, crepes and popcorn. The positive feedback from visitors and our employees shows, the day of apprenticeship is more than just an information event – it is a strong sign of our commitment to promoting young talent. More than 200 young people and their parents found their way to the NETZSCH Campus in Waldkraiburg on Saturday. “We are consciously investing in the next generation because it is crucial for our future”, said Stanka. “The fact that we were able to welcome so many motivated young people here confirms we are on the right track.”
