NETZSCH Employees Say Goodbye to the Old Waldkraiburg Plant
Goodbye Plant I: At the end of March, NETZSCH Pumps & Systems employees said goodbye to the time-honoured site in the residential area on Liebigstraße in Waldkraiburg after 61 years.
In the scope of a farewell party, managing director Jens Heidkötter first addressed warm words to the employees before the social part began.
The history of the NETZSCH Plant I in Waldkraiburg

In 1961, Netzsch Maschinenfabrik Selb acquired the insolvent company GeBeGe-Gräfliche Blanckensteinsche Gesellschaft für Spezialfahrzeugbau, mbH, including its premises. At the time of the handover, a total of 54 people were employed by GeBeGe, all of whom were also employed by Netzsch. The acquired premises in Liebigstraße contained a factory hall, a bunker with a boiler room, washing and changing rooms on the ground floor, and three shed halls still under construction. Half the bunker and the upper floor were used as offices. In 1962, Netzsch-Mohnopumpen GmbH was founded in Waldkraiburg by Erich Netzsch as part of today's NETZSCH Group, which has existed for almost 150 years. On August 30, 1962, the 1,000th progressing cavity pump was produced in Waldkraiburg. In the following years, the company developed so magnificently that, in addition to expanding the existing buildings, eight other shed halls, a gatehouse and other buildings were built. In 1985, Mohnopumpen GmbH built more than 10,000 pumps. Soon the Liebigstraße site was bursting at the seams. So in 1986, the lot in Waldkraiburg's industrial area was acquired, and a new plant was built. A good 37 years later, the plants in Waldkraiburg were joined together.
Heidkötter: "Saatnya mengucapkan selamat tinggal"

“You all associate a lot with this location, some of you have spent your entire professional career here, so it is understandably all the more difficult to say goodbye.”
Farewell party for employees in Plant I
Following the managing director's speech, the employees were offered cool drinks, bratwurst and other snacks. This way, all employees could say goodbye to the old plant in a cosy atmosphere. In addition, everyone could sign their names and leave greetings on a wall.
A farewell always brings something new. For the employees of the global specialist in complex fluid management, this means: Hello NETZSCH Campus, cheers to many more years at the Waldkraiburg site!
