NEMO® SH Plus Hygienic Pump Construction
NEMO® SH Plus hygienic pump comes with a flexible rod to meet the high hygiene requirements, rather than open joints or joints filled with oil, that connects the drive to the shaft for handling highly sensitive, viscous, and abrasive liquids. The rod is heat-shrunk connected with the Rotorrotor,Rotors,rotorsrotor and connection point so that the liquid conveyance is hermetically sealed.
Since there is no friction between components due to the connections/joints, there is hardly any wear on the flexible rod and it doesn’t need lubrication or seal, which reduces the maintenance costs. The material of construction used in sanitary applications is stainless steel of various grades – in a polished version for the wetted parts – and a stator made of FDA-compliant elastomer is used, and single-acting seals can be used for shaft seals, optionally also a double-acting seal can be provided.
The pump design with bearing housing and drive shaft facilitates all types of drives ensuring versatility and flexible installation.
